SOLO drivers cancel stage 12 because of the most difficult conditions! After 600 km in constant rain, violent head wind (500 km in just 25 hours) and temperatures around 13 ℃, nothing worked anymore.
After 26h 09m 35s Edi needed for the 11th stage from Ulan Ude to Chita: 658 km and 7,000 vertical meters!
The 10 stage went from Irkutsk to Ulan Ude. 447.13 km with 5,185 meters of altitude awaited the drivers.
Stage 9 was certainly one of the hardest to contest in this race. It went from Krasnoyarsk over 1,100 km and more than 10,000 vertical meters to Irkutsk.
The second third of the RB Trans Siberian Extreme begins. In the 8th stage the racers drive 800 km and hilly 6,500 vertical meters from Novosibirsk to Krasnoyarsk.
620 KM TO OMSK. Edi Fuchs finished the 6th stage from Tyumen to Omsk in second place, almost 2 hours behind stage winner Alexey Shebelin. Unfortunately, the second Austrian participant Andreas Fuchs had to end the race with severe knee problems, which allowed Edi to take the second overall position. This leaves only three
2. STAGE VICTORY! Edi was able to win the 5th stage from Ekaterinburg to Tyumen again, and thus already achieved his second stage victory! For the 320 kilometers, and therefore the shortest stage of the race, he only needed 9h 51m 41s. On the last kilometers of the stage, Edi was able to make
4th STAGE The fourth stage went from Perm to Ekaterinburg. The drivers were “only” waiting for 330 km - but they included 3,400 meters in altitude. Edi Fuchs had recovered well from the exertions of the previous day and was able to keep up the pace without any problems! Overall stage winner Alexey Shebelin
